🌿Our Commitment to Circularity
At Hotel & Apartments Cala Santanyí, we have implemented a Circularity Plan, in compliance with Law 3/2022 on urgent measures for the sustainability and circularity of tourism in the Balearic Islands.
This plan allows us to reduce the environmental impact of our hotel activity and move towards a more responsible and sustainable tourism model in harmony with our surroundings.
The main measures included in the Plan, which we are working to apply, are:
• Energy: improving the energy efficiency of the establishment to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Water: promoting the saving of this valuable resource in our Mediterranean environment.
• Waste: encouraging separation and proper management, as well as reducing the use of single-use plastics.
• Food and beverages: prioritizing local and seasonal products (km 0), supporting the local economy and our diet.
• Awareness: involving both our team and our guests in the conservation and respect of the environment.
How can you collaborate with us?
- By correctly separating waste and depositing it in the designated containers throughout the facilities.
- By participating in the towel and bed linen reuse program.
- By using lights and air conditioning responsibly.
- By being aware of how precious water is and helping us save it by turning off the tap when not needed.
With this plan, we want every stay at Hotel & Apartments Cala Santanyí to also be an opportunity to care for our environment and contribute, together, to more sustainable tourism.
