Since April 2020, and with the help and certification of our consultant for food and water safety: Mr.Bartolomé Matas (Veterinarian and biologist Col: IB337 / consultant and assessor of the University of the Balearic Islands) and our consultants for health and safety at work: PREVIS Gestión de Riesgos S.L.U., we have developing more than 40 measures for minimization the spread of Covid-19. Our big goal is to offer a safe vacation, in which the health of our employees and our guests is the most important. We ask for your complicity and that you follow all instructions of our employees. Please note that the hotels services may differ from those described on the website in order to meet the hygienic requirements. Please understand that such changes only serve to ensure the well-being and calm of our customers.
GENERAL MEASURES
1.Our employees have received preventive training for Covid19.
2.Our staff always have the necessary protective equipment.
3.For each worker a mandatory daily temperature control is performed.
4. We reduce the capacity in the different areas (bars, restaurant…). Lift should be used for individuals or family members.
5.The deck chairs by the pool are at least 1,5 m apart. Distance for individual o family members.
6.We pay special attention, we do chlorine and PH analysis of running water and pool water twice a day. Supervised by a certified external company.
7.We have marked the risk areas with posters with preventive advice.
8. We offer disinfectant gel in important places such as reception, bars and restaurants.
9.All cleaning and disinfection products used comply with UNE-EN standards.
MEASURES AT THE RECEPTION
1.We have disinfectant gel dispensers near the counter.
2.We have intensified the cleaning and disinfection of counters and passageways.
3.We avoid the delivery of documents by hand. Otherwise, we disinfect all hand-delivered materials (room cards, brochures, maps and others). All information will be available on your mobile phone via QR-Code, on our website www.hotelcalasantanyi.com, or on the App from Hotel Cala Santanyí.
4.Check-in and invoice and others will be provided per email.
5.Payment is preferably made by credit card or mobile device.
MEASURES IN FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES
The use of the face mask is mandatory for all guests during the buffet service.
1. In the Restaurant, ask the maître/waiter which table is vacant and disinfected. Please do not change tables during the service.
2.The tables in our restaurant, terraces and bars are 1,5 meters distanced.
3.If necessary, due to capacity, we will divide breakfast / dinner in 2 shifts, or they have access to the hotel´s Sala Honoris.
4.At the buffet, food will be served by our staff.
5.The food & beverage cards are available in QR code.
6.All kitchen and waiters staff wear face masks.
7.After each service, as usual, the restaurant will be disinfected.
8.We carry out a control and verification of the temperature of the dishwasher (> 60 °) for a comprehensive disinfection of all dishes. We provide dishes through our employees and prevent customers from having direct access to them.
9.We disinfect all products that arrive in our warehouse.
MEASURES FOR ROOM CLEANING
1.Our external laundry guarantees and certifies treatment with disinfectants at> 60º C.
2.We do not clean the room while the customer is inside.
3.The cleaning staff disinfects their hands with hydroalcoholic gel after and before each cleaning of the room.
4.For your safety, all towels and mops are changed every time the room is cleaned.
5.The cleaning in doorknobs, taps, telephone, TV remote control, balcony doors and cupboards, hair dryer, etc. are strengthened.
6.We are reducing the number of rooms per maid for better cleaning and disinfection of your room.
7.All rooms bathrooms in the rooms have body milk, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. This will replace all amenities in favor of a green and sustainable planet. On request, we can provide you with bathing cap, cotton swabs or paper handkerchiefs.
8. To make disinfection as easy as possible, it is necessary to remove all decorative textile elements, as well as brochures and magazines, among other things. All information will be available on your mobile phone via QR code.
CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAMM
1.To improve the program, we have hired a monitor for each group of ten children. Whenever possible children will play outside, at the beach.
2.Contact activities are avoided and whenever possible the program will take place outside.
3.We disinfect all materials after use.
4.Daily atomization with hydroalcoholic products to disinfect the playing area.
5.In addition to the general hotel protocols for hygiene, in this case we apply the protocols established by the government for school facilities.
MEASURES IN WELLNESS (SPA, GYM AND BEAUTY TREATMENTS)
1.We have reduced the use of the fitness room for individuals or families.
2.You have disinfectant products for the fitness equipment, for before and after use.
3. The sauna, steam bath and whirlpool are closeddue to the strict hygiene protocols established I accordance with government covid regulations.
4. The Ambara Beauty & Spa Salon staff is trained in hygiene and health protocols. They use disposable materials and FFp2 masks, and all utensils, paints, couches and the cabin disinfected.
5.For yoga classes please bring you own towel.
MEASURES IN TECHNICAL SERVICES
1.All employees have the required individual protective and safety equipment.
2.We carry out the repairs in the rooms as far as possible without the presence of the customer. If this is not possible, we keep a safety distance of 1,5 m at all times.
3.We disinfect all areas in which the intervention was been carried out.
